Dear Lord and Saviour,
I come to You with thoughts of
those who are alone, and have
no one to love them enough to
pray for them. I see someone
standing alone in a doorway
and wonder if they are afraid to
enter their own home. By your
grace, may they find in loneliness,
that they are never alone, that his
presence is in every room in some
way.
Accept my prayers for those who
need love and care, whoever they
are and wherever they may be. I
pray for You to give them part of
my blessings today, and in your
love, may they know they are not
forgotten.
I pray for those who have been full
of confidence and love, and chose
a partner for life, and are now alone.
May they receive the gift of time, so
that hurt and bitterness may heal. May
their personal weakness be redeemed
by the joy of knowing You and serving
others through Jesus Christ, our Lord.
I humbly pray in your holy name. Amen.
